- FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR -

The Somerset Police Department has three Firearms Instructors to provide the department with guidance on the shooting range. Lt. William Hunt, Sgt. Donald Stevens, Jr., Sgt. Jason Griffith, and Officer Jeff Girdler are certified instructors and carry out the responsibility of conducting two range qualification sessions per year.  They provide a vital service that allows officers to keep their pistol and shotgun skills ready for violence situations to protect themselves and the public.
